Our 2026-2027 Jr SeaWolves teams evaluate players similar to a job interview.

Our Wolves are the most committed baseball athletes of their age. They train year round at the Erie Strike Zone in a highly competitive environment in a varsity/college pathway training program.
We look for blue collar, humble, hard working players that want the highest level training in NW PA and enjoy training in a highly competitive team environment. These are the players that hunt as a pack (WE>ME). Toxic, self centered, diva players will not meet our culture no matter how talented.
A championship culture is built on gritty players that play for something greater than themselves.
7% of all high school athletes make it to college in their spots. There are many reasons why but many items are things that determined individuals controls. We teach athletes to "CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLES" and help them become the best version of themselves possible to BECOME THE 7% . Our athletes are confident, not cocky and carry the mentality of WE ARE THE 7%!

Athlete ages 7U-18U and each age has their own teams:
Our JSW teams are limited to one team per age to focus on a high-quality experience. This allows our organizational leaders and instructors to be able to provide the best training and competition experience possible for the athlete and family.

Our JSW training is 70% practice and 30% games. We focus on training skill development (practice/academy sessions) and game development (games/tournaments). The focus is providing a player pathway to take athletes to the varsity and collegiate levels of the sport while building good human beings in a positive and professional environment. Our seasons are divided into 3 phases.
Note: We welcome multi-sport athletes but JSW teams are designed for athletes focused on baseball as their primary sport. Multi-sport athletes must train at least once per week during the offseason and attend all in-season practices; otherwise playing time will be impacted.

Our JSW leadership consists of high level professionals and volunteers to provide teams the best training experience possible. Our academy system is designed and operated with instructors that are collegiate coaches, college players, MLB players and coachers (former and current) to teach the current techniques, fundamentals and mindsets of the game. This provides next level training from some of the best coaches available in a consistent, organized structure that is fun and positive for all ages. In our academy structure we provide consistent training on:
Volunteer coaches are required to be certified from the Strike Zone Academy to ensure that a high-standard is being taught and all coaches must have a current background check on file.

Our organization team is committed to delivering the maximum value in a college pathway program. We are transparent with families about costs and design our training and competition offerings to be as all-inclusive as possible with no hidden fees.. This includes:

We treat evaluations like a job interview and expect athletes to arrive prepared. Players who show up in full uniform, with belts buckled, hats on correctly, jerseys tucked in, and a focused mindset demonstrate to us that they are serious about their opportunity to run with the pack! This is the first step in "controlling the controllables" and accepting a high-level of commitment,
